Let's start with post optimization. Open a post and start with SEO Control Center widget.
This is the first step for your SEO enhancement.
First, define the keywords you will be managing/addressing in this post. One or two keywords will be enough.
As soon as you add you will be given usage statistics for the keywords. Now you can start writing the post. The usage statistics will update frequently. Try to use keywords in the post title and keep the keyword usage between 3-5%. The keyword cards will identify whether you are doing good on the safe side or not.

By default the title you write for the post will be the one that will be visible in SERPs. But the title is not always as good or as convertible as it should be. For example, you will summarize the topic, but there is no action or emotion in it, therefore when people see the title in SERPs, maybe, they won't click on it. In those cases it is recommended to define a different title that will be used for SERPs. Use the field.
When the reporting or copy-blogging curation scenario is used, which means most of your content is the quotation or the borrowed content, then it will make no sense to define this post as your own. It will, in any case, rank quite low. Here you should save the rank of your blog altogether. Define the canonical path and point to the original post. This will make sure you still have the post for your visitors, but get no SEO at the same time.
