ExpressCurate Chrome Extension is a tool that add content curation to your Chrome Experience and connects with ExpressCurate Wordpress Plugin. So please install the extension first.

Welcome To ExpressCurate in Chrome

Once the installation is completed the guide to Chrome extension will open in a separate tab. Here we will go over what you get.

The first what you will notice is the new toolbar action ExpressCurate.

In order to work the extension shall know which is your blog. Please press on ExpressCurate button. The curation dialog will open. On top menu there is the button connect to your blog.

Press to add the blog. Provide the address of the blog. You will be asked for user credentials to get in.

Now that you have connected your first blog all the features are open for use.

From here, you can take the following actions:

Curate a post with Chrome Extension

Whenever you read a post, an offer, any page you like and think is worth to be curated to your blog, you can start the curation right away.

Press on ExpressCurate toolbar button. The curation dialog will open.

Here you shall

  • edit the title
  • provide a headline to your post
  • curate the content
  • add your annotation to the curated text
  • add categories
  • SEO enhance
  • define publishing options
  • Curation - send to wordpress

You can also start curation from the context menu. Simply right click and choose the menu ExpressCurate. There you can choose

  • Curate Page that will open the same curation dialog
  • Curate Page in Wordpress. This will send the page to wordpress. The process is similar to when you Curate the page from Content Feed.

When crawling the web and reading articles you may also come across great media/images. To curate an image right click on the image and choose ExpressCurate > Curate Image.

Bring your rss feeds with chrome extension

You will discover a lot of interesting sites and blogs during everyday routine work. Some of them may be worth looking after. To subscribe to the feed simply right click and from context menu choose ExpressCurate > Add to RSS feeds.

Adding a bookmark with chrome extension

You will discover a lot of interesting posts and pages during everyday routine work. Some of them may be worth curation as a full article and for some of them you may just have hints or ideas. To collect the post for later review and curation you can bookmark the page with ExpressCurate. The advantage compared to the standard bookmarking is that it’s not local but is shared with all the authors of the blog.

To bookmark the page simply right click and from context menu choose ExpressCurate > Bookmark Page.

You will need to add an idea, comment if you have and press on Bookmark.

Default Category for Curated Posts

Please pick a default category for your curated posts from the list below. This will prevent a default "Uncategorized" being assigned to your post automatically.

Post type for ExpressCurate Chrome Extension

Please pick a post type for your curated posts from the list below. This will allow custom post types when curating with ExpressCurate Chrome Extension.

Publishing Directly from ExpressCurate Chrome Extension

This setting gives you an option to save your curated post as a draft or publish it when you click on the "Curate" button on ExpressCurate Chrome extension.
